Operation Manager

We are looking for an Operation Manager to join our team in Cala Qisya! A high-driven and proactive individual is needed to oversee all business operations, boost productivity and profitability. Your Day-to-Day:

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Develop and maintain close coordination and productive working relationship between the Operations Department and other key departments HOD level. Assist HOD in strategizing, formulating and implementing operation guidelines and initiative at group level.
  • Review the facilities management programs and development. Identify opportunities for greater efficiency and productivity; research and implement alternative actions as appropriate.
  • Embrace on technology as key success initiatives to drive operations activities towards achieving the desired business objectives.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Work closely with the stores and HQ operations in terms of policies, processes and implementation to standardize systems and procedures. Coordinate the department’s activities to ensure the proper execution and strict adherence to the said policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits checks and advise stores and HQ operation team on corrective measures in case of non-compliances. (Inventory and Expenses). Conduct energy conservation and environment programs with a view to reduce operating costs. Ability to demonstrate achievement of results e.g. business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation
  • Conduct and provide training to Stores & HQ Team in order to equip them with the relevant operations core competencies and skill sets particularly on the various aspects of engineering operations, management and maintenance.

  • Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining additional needed sales promotion, authorizing clearance sales and studying trends
  • Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
  • Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing the program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

What is expected of you

  • Must bend, reach, and stretch for product, as well as lift, carry and move at least 15kg – 20kg
  • Have flexible availability that supports the needs of the business, including: nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must regularly move around all areas of the store and be accessible to customers
