Operation Manager (Retail)

Cala Qisya HQ, Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor

Vacancy: 1 Fulltimer, Salary Range: RM 4000.00 - 5300.00

The Retail Operation Manager will oversee all of the daily operations of the Store & HQ. They need to be passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service and driving sales and all dept KPI. They will manage the store’s & management employees, including hiring, performance evaluation, scheduling, and assigning duties and responsibilities by training, coaching, and developing the team.

The Retail Op’s Manager will be responsible for motivated & engaging staff and ensuring the staff represents and embraces Cala Qisya Values and understand Cala Qisya's goals. They will also hold regular team meetings to communicate with the staff.

  • Good standard of numerical skills.
  • Worked in a fast pace, high turnover store

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Provide financial and operational control across all stores & E-commerce.
  • Maximize profit through appropriate financial control, operational planning, and clear communication to stores & E-commerce.
  • Able to communicate with 3rd party person in charges such as Website Developer, Warehouse, and other related business.
  • To influence the retail strategies from a financial and operational perspective, to drive productivity and efficiency, customer service adhering to the agreed retail strategy.
  • To build and optimize store & e-commerce operational policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Ensure that the Operations Executive complies with all weekly and monthly reports about sales and KPIs.
  • Ensure all stores comply with workplace health & safety regulations; and that all stores trade and operate safely, legally, and efficiently following the corporate requirements.

Social Media Executive

The Brand Department team is focused on delivering engaging content stories and inclusive digital communities across our social channels such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok. We work across the company in sourcing both internal and external stories that can inspire, engage and educate our audience on our brand values, product launch, and sharing new perspectives from our community.

We are seeking an ideas-driven Social Media Exec who will be responsible for curating and developing content across the Cala Qisya social channels. This role will have the unique opportunity to define the next phase of social for Cala Qisya in strengthening and deliver the voice and personality of the brand across platforms. This position requires a strong creative intuition, team player, and a proactive approach when it comes to engaging communities across social.

As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will create new content, manage/respond to the voice of the customer, react and adapt to new channel best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and also other brands. You will keep a close eye on the pulse on social, from conversations to creative trends and you will be responsible for developing content quickly to meet the moment.  

The Social Media Executive will report directly to the Director of Creative and manage a social associate.

  • Degree in Linguistic/Graphic Design/Marketing/Mass Communication and 1-2 years of experience.
  • Computer skills as required by the department such as Adobe Illustration, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom (Mobile & Laptop), Inshot or any video editor apps, and etc.

  • Respond to any mentions over social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (Feed, Live, Story), and TikTok and engage with the social media users.

  • Producing consistent creative content across all the social media channels such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Regular monitoring the competitor's social media sites and creating analysis reports.
  • Working with other departments to develop social media timelines that coincide with the product release, ad campaigns, and other brand messages.
  • Coordinating social media content with the brand management team, and achieved annual company goals.

As a member of our production team, the right candidate is able to design within an established identity system while always innovating and pushing the brand forward to create best-in-class fashion solutions. This role reports to the Production Executive.

We'd love to hear from you:

  • Degree in Fashion Design/Illustration 
  • Computer skills as required by the department such as Adobe Illustration, Adobe Photoshop, and etc.
  • Experience providing office support and coordinating work.
  • Effective communication and organization skills.
  • Fluent in English & Mandarin (Bonus Skill - PRIORITY).
  • Proactive and approachable person.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Giving advice on which combination of fabrics and patterns may give the best results
  • Discussing the director’s requirements
  • Showing the director’s fabric samples and pattern books
  • Taking measurements
  • Adapting an existing pattern, or producing a new pattern for the director’s
  • Tracking the fabric pieces together for a fitting
  • Fitting the garment and making adjustments to create a perfect fit.
  • Working out the cost of the work, taking into account the fabric, trimmings, and time needed
  • Using the pattern to cut out the fabric pieces
  • Working with other department data for a better production overview.
