Graphic Designer Assistant

Cala Qisya HQ, Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor

Vacancy: 1 Fulltimer, Salary Range: RM 2000.00 - 2400.00

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our creative team to help bring our brand to life and evolve our design vision. This role will contribute to a wide range of projects with work spanning both the digital and physical space—anything from site design to in-store signage. This position will work closely with a team of brands and ads manager to develop, concept and execute brand campaigns.
As a member of our design team, the right candidate is able to design within an established identity system while always innovating and pushing the brand forward to create best-in-class visual solutions. This role reports to the Chief Creative Director.

We'd love to hear from you:

  • Degree in graphic design and two years of experience.
  • Computer skills as required by the department such as Adobe Illustration, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effect and etc.
  • Experience providing office support and coordinating work.
  • Effective communication and organization skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proactive and approachable person.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Assist with designs and graphics, such as combinations of photographs, text, for marketing materials and web content.
  • Visualize and execute conceptual ideas within budgetary constraints and guidelines.
  • Interpret and transform concepts and ideas, sometimes developed by others, into descriptive visual materials in varying formats.
  • Determine software applications be used and develops and/or maintains applicable computer programs.
  • Assist photographer for a photo shoot at the studio.
  • Able to create an idea of the prop by using DIY for photo shoot campaign purposes.
  • Able to contribute a new idea or improvise team idea for a new campaign.
  • Ability to multitask, working on multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
  • The clear understanding of design trends in social media
  • Typography experience, required
  • You must be creative and enjoy taking an idea or concept and running with it!
  • Must have the ability to receive constructive feedback and work within brand identity
  • Perform related duties as assigned.


Store Manager

Hey Shah Alam! Guess what? Calaqisya just opens a vacancy at our flagship store as a store manager. Have you ever imagined to run a successful store and behind of the success stories is YOU that well manage the store?. Calaqisya have grown the business from time to time and also our sales team will grow together with the store. 
As the first step to have a successful flagship store, we need a strong Store Manager!
**We understand that we are about to enter the holiday season, so we feel that it's important to note that while we are starting the recruiting and interview process right now.
As the Store Manager of the Flagship store, you will be responsible for building and training your team and then continued driving our business through excellent operational and team management.
The ideal candidate loves developing others, has strong interpersonal skills and is energized by tackling complex operational opportunities. You're known as a community builder and go-getter and have extensive experience shift managing a high-volume retail store.
In this role, you will work directly with our retail Operation Team to manage your store team and will report directly to our Operation Manager.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.
  • Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
  • Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing the program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
